After completing the Online Allergen Video Training, your employees will understand the 14 legally required allergens, know what to look for when reading labels, and be equipped to set up an Allergen Management System or improve an existing one. They will know the right questions to ask guests with food allergies or intolerances and how to effectively communicate this critical information internally. Moreover, they will become more aware of the importance of thorough allergen knowledge and understand why this expertise is crucial for increasing your business’s revenue.

Little space in your schedule? Study in own time & pace

You don’t need to schedule an entire day off for your employees. They can decide where and when they study, and choose their preferred device—laptop, desktop, tablet, or mobile. Employees will have two years of access to all the videos, so even after completing the training, they can revisit the material when working with allergens in practice.

Suitable for every level and age

Our youngest participant is 16 years old, and the oldest is 84. Whether they have no prior education or an MBO/HBO background, the training is suitable for everyone. It’s also ideal for employees with dyslexia, those who struggle with learning, or those who find it difficult to sit through a full day in a traditional classroom setting.

HOC Video Academy

Upon receiving the registration and payment, the account for accessing the HOC Video Academy will be activated, and your employees will receive an invitation to participate in the video training on the same (business) day.

The video training is in Dutch with English subtitles and consists of 57 lessons divided into 9 chapters. Along the way, there are knowledge tests so your employees can check if they’ve mastered the material.

The entire video training takes 4 to 6 hours to complete and can be accessed on a desktop, tablet, or mobile device. This allows your employees to learn wherever and whenever they want, with unlimited access to the videos.

The cost for (1-year) access to the HOC Video Academy, priced at €250,- is included in the total cost.

Course materials

The course materials, the Allergen Study Guide, will be sent to your employees by post on the same (business) day after registration and payment are received.

The study guide is packed with background information and can also be used as a reference tool.

The cost for this study guide is €50,- and is included in the total cost.

Video Training Content

The Online Allergen Video Training consists of 9 modules (a total of 57 lessons), including the Allergen Test.

The training takes approximately 4 to 6 hours, depending on your employees' learning pace.

Our advice: Take your time! A video training can be paused and watched multiple times."

Support

If your employees have any questions while watching the videos, they can ask these questions in the Video Academy. Depending on the question, it will be answered by e-mail or Gabriëlla will personally contact your employees by telephone!

The intensity of support is entirely in the hands of your employees. Even if your employees ask questions 25 times, we are happy to offer this service (and free of charge)!

Allergen Test

At the end of the Allergen Video Training, your employees will find the Allergen Test. They can take this test at their convenience, anytime and anywhere—there’s no need to travel to a physical (exam) location.

The Allergen Test consists of 30 multiple-choice questions (A, B, C). Employees will earn the Allergen Certificate if they answer at least 18 out of 30 questions correctly.

The Allergen Certificate will be sent to your employees by post within a maximum of 2 (business) days.

The certification cost of €35,- is included in the total cost.
